Water and Ocean
Sadness with no thought
as to how it came,
dream of just the other day
when it wasn't this way.
Crying with no tears
heart loving
without fear.
One two three
the seconds tick by
as I picture
you by my side.
I smile
sad and sweet
at the same time
it must be.
The thought of you
makes me happy
but the reality
makes me blue.
Even as my head
is up in the clouds
another day ticks by.
You're still there
and I'm still here
forever that way
I think it will stay.
