Water

.

On the water I live
To her,my life , I may someday give
Away I go , from the land
It's people I no longer understand.
No place here for me
No one is really free
None that I can see
Fires burning turning day to a red evil light
On all fronts there's some kind of fight
People so full pf hate
Whose actions hasn't been that great
This world i now find
Has went and lost its mind
The world is working itself up to war
We can't take to much more
Hate is filling the heart
Tearing this world apart
Lost is the way
The hateful things we say
What it means to be kind
Has been left behind
On the water I will sail away
For in this place, I will no longer stay
For it has lost its way
A new home I hope to find
Looking for some peace of mind

Three years I lived on the pacific in a sailboat. Ran in to more people out there. Don't have to search for peace. Found I carried it inside me the whole time
