Watching Ourselves.....

On the other side of life,
There is a world free of Nannies,
where children are left alone
to fend for themselves,
almost neglected.......
because they haven't any Grannies,
Fodder for predators and
other folks with ill-intentions,
Watchcing themselves until
someone remembers,
that they are a valuable commodity
an entree to the future,
instead of an afterthought,
that interferes with normal living,
Children have grown accustomed to
watching themselves without any misgivings,
They survive just fine until one of them
makes the news,
Then, a community becomes "up in arms"
and grows obtuse,
when all along, they were accessories
in Society,
Sometimes it takes the mischief of a child to arouse their
anxieties.
