Watching An Indian Video

Races which once
       flourished
    are now gone
Only a few
remnants remain
    of many peoples
The hourglass runs out
          You and yours
may too disappear
and you may find yourself
    in the ashheaps of
history
   grab a hug or
a kiss while you still
    cna
Enjoy the light of the
   moon and sun
Take joy where
you can find it
You'll find that
if you look upwards
       the stars will
be auspicous

The stars are a sight to see out in the boonies where I live on about 20 acres. Lovely poem and a joy to read. Have a great day! Scarlett

Nice poem, thanks for your comments. My father had pigs and cows when I was a child and he has an acre garden every year. so I know about the bugs. GA is a mosquito haven with alot of water and farms. check the typo on can in this poem. ;)
