Watch the Waves Come In
What a picture to behold
Astounding such beauty in view
This is creation at it’s best
Come here to stand watch anew
Here with both feet on the sand
Truly deep blue in its shade
Holds one’s breath looks on the sea
Every look shows it’s not man-made
Wonder of wonders uniquely sublime
Altogether beautiful picturesque scene
Ventures the mind to spread so wide
Empties your inner self what does this mean?
So divinely centred feeling such awe
Creation displayed by God’s hand
Overcoming all of earth’s awful marks
Majestic is our God forever to stand
Earthbound as we are we must confess
Irresistible it is to look with our eye
Now this is God made supernatural dress
(Just written as I was standing on the seashore recently enjoying the end of the summer season last year.)
