Watch out for Louise
I know a lady named Louise,
She has just given notice that herself
she will please,
So, you had better watch out for Louise,
Because you she will no longer appease.
No more asking permission for Louise,
No more will she be someone for you,
to abuse,
No more will she be there, just to amuse,
And if by chance you should criticize,
She is now more than able to cut you down
size.
Watch out for Louise,
You could be in for a big surprise,
She is even a different size,
And if you are truly wise,
You will come to realize,
That she is really quite a prize,
This lady Louise.
Note: I wrote this poem sometime in the seventies about a real lady.
I think I have chosen the right form for this poem. I can imagine interaction with audience on this and picking a different member of audience to point finger at whenever the word YOU!! is emphasized. I think most will have known a lady or a man like Louise at some point in life.
