Wasted Rhyme

What would I do with a week off. Not that I don’t have that now. So to take a week off I must go back to work don’t you see. How can I know how much to do now that my time is not my own. My imagination could run wild why I might even become a poet. But I’m not sure where to put rhyme. Shut my mouth and just give me a hint Confusing it is don’t you agree Abusing the language would be bad. As I ponder the placement of rhyme Has anyone noticed what I’ve done. Time to confess, if you don’t see, rhyme in front of all sentences. ~//~ Rhyme is just wasted written like this isn’t it? Oct 5 2010 Charles Henderson 1 st in Carol's week off contest

hahaha, good idea, what you proved here. I was once challenged to write a sonnet that rhymed like this, front AND back. It wasn't so difficult to do as I expected. But i doubt anyone would realize I'd done it that way! I reallyl like your winning poem. LUv, Andrea
