Wasted

In the night of others he sits and gets a drink
To lit a cigarette he always smiles
For with the smoke he does gets think
By the cliff he watches and drown in tears

With so many memories rushing on every night
Willing to change yet does same
Heroes have no names when the drink takes away the life called game
Nowadays man sitting watching over the lights of the city he twist

Now to stand tangling in his own sins committed with drink
He waves goodbye at the life yet in bottle and grows emotions so thick
For a bliss he dreams off, nothing severs the pain drank
He still lingers at the edge of the bridge to the promised land as anyways he walks in rotten plank

Say goodbye for you have lost the game tonight
Child left in tears god have mercy for this man
As I watch every night he desires to only die in sight
Please father, don't be a fool and continue on

A coward marks the years will a razor or a bullet
I've seen so much yet much more to see tomorrow night
Cry me not for my hands have always waited on the words of the last
Now kneel and beg god to illuminate your road to endless nights of lust

Fear the reaper
Bleed the recklessness
Share the sorrows
Reason the martyrs

Goodbye wasted man
For the fall will take you to more darkness and yet more agony
Dead I am not yet my moon
He will see through the fire and bleed in lullaby
