Washed Up

Where the Jester lies
beaten against the cold shore,
the Queen of Hearts sings.

Mark.. powerful, well constructed write, my friend. Poetry Soup is an awesome place to display your creative, artist works. It's also an ideal place to meet and be shaped by other gifted poets. Comment on their works and they will comment on yours. Give one of the Contest a try as well. I look forward to reading more of your good writes in the coming days. Please also take time to check me out, ok!

I put one up a few minutes ago. Not much of a writer/poet, though. I'm more of a reader, myself.

Thanks, Anne. Haiku's about the only type of poetry I write, hehehe. I'm more of a reader of poems than a poet. But, I'm happy ya liked it. Cheers to you!

I liked this piece. Could have used more imagery to support that last line. Maybe cut out 'Where the' in the first line and add a few words/syllables about the state of the Jester. Still, a good piece. :)

Hello, Ms. A. H. Sewell. I'm sure my Haiku could use some work, hehehe. I did rework it, maybe I'll repost it later. Thanks for liking it, still. (I love your work, by the way, so I'm jazzed you like this little Haiku of mine.) Cheers to you!
