Was This the Plan
I looked out my window today
And I stared into the sky
I said God what happened
Mankind has gone crazy, why
Our own Government fails us
They can't get past their greed
They let our homeless live on streets
As they debate legalizing weed
I know I have a voice lord
But they just drown it out
With their highfalutin beaurocracy
And all that others shout
God when you made Adam and Eve
Was all of this your plan
Or did it all get turned around
I wish to understand
I know one day you'll tell me
But I wish to know right now
I know that's kind of selfish
But frankly lord we're losing ground
