Was Never
Do you remember, how the dumb things would make us laugh?
It makes me think, was there a wall before our path?
Remember the late nights on the road?
How could I forget that morning you explode.
It was never about money you and I.
It was never about the truth for I never had to lie.
It was never about cheating cause you took all my time.
And it was never about love, cause for you I was blind.
Remember when we were at the park?
I almost got bit by a snake and you pulled me closer to your heart.
Remember our first time together?
You were down to ride no matter the weather.
It was never about money you and I.
It was never about the truth for I never had to lie.
Its not even that time I made you cry.
So how did we arrive here, at goodbye?
