Was It Her

You will never have guessed who I just saw Right before my eyes as I left my front door Was it really who I thought I'm not so sure Went by so fast can't see her anymore All day I was thinking could it really be The person I hoped that my eyes did see Something to ponder whilst making my tea For if it was her that lady is special to me Next morning I left my door at the same time A quick glimpse of her again would be sublime An outsider would think this as a pantomime So ending this most unusual and quirky rhyme
