Was I Wrong
I live my life in misery, though I'd sacrifice this world to hold you.
No breath left inside of me, only together we'll make it through.
Now it's time for me to realize, what's going on.
Seeing your face reflect from our babies eyes, the pain's gone.
Forever and always, means so much more.
For the rest of our days, our love will soar.
Should this come crashing down, or will you hold me up?
Though how could I drown, when you said, "Cheer up buttercup"?
Forget about the pain, I'll be by your side.
Only love to gain, no more talk of suicide.
Say goodnight, I'll never let you go.
We'll win this fight, don't you know?
I could never say, what was inside.
Now I know today, I'll no longer have to hide.
Take my hand, we will never give in.
We'll take our stand, and together we'll win.
Was I wrong, to give you my heart?
When you sang our song, it just fell apart.
Though the memories, will always remain.
Now your heart sees, all of the pain.
That's what I get, when I gave my heart away.
Our fire's no longer lit, for I die this day.
I'm sorry, but there's no room for you.
You hurt me, so now the love's through.
I refuse, to let you drag me down.
You're the one who'll abuse, but I'll just drown.
So many lies, came from your big mouth.
As I laughed at your cries, things just went south.
Watch my dreams, all come true.
Do your eyes gleam, for none involve you?
I gave you everything, you took it all.
As you continued to sing, I continued to fall.
How can there be a forever, without us together?
