Mark Koplin Poet Rhyme

Warning

If you are a criminal preying upon the vulnerable and weak.
Pay close attention, in our silence we now speak.
Hear my heart and look deep within my eyes.
There are a few old words that will never be revised.

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Change your evil ways or experience this old truth.
We are fed up and tired, the beast is now awake.
We are coming for you and with fear we no longer shake.

There are more of us than you, we are smart and we are wise.
We will descend upon you quickly and draw the blood out from your eyes.
We will take each and every tooth and then put your bones to bed.
No peace from us will you find, your evil will leave you dead.

You are about to fix your price and your fate will soon be set.
Never gamble with your soul, that’s a fool’s bet.
Nobody controls the ferryman, beware of foolish pride.
There is only one way that you will get to the other side.

Sometimes I see something on the news that makes me mad so then I write something dark. Since they have been defunding the police in Minneapolis the daytime car jackings have hit an all time high. There was some poor lady going to work and stopped in traffic. They actually fired three shots into her drivers window.
