War, Huh

When wars are fought in faraway places,
and we don’t recognize the soldiers faces,
then the bombs and bullets mean little to us.

We’ll watch it with concern a day or two,
then quickly lose interest like we always do,
and wonder why there was ever such a fuss.

Very sad, no one wins in war.

Thanks for dropping by, Aurore. Sadly, we have grown so calloused that we are able to tune out the horrors of war.
