War

War

I know of families who are going to war
Because of a clown a physcho settling a score
Bombs will be falling like drops of rain
Will we ever see, a rainbow again?

Borders have been crossed, red lines ignored
Lovers will lose the ones they’ve adored
The storm is coming nowhere to hide
Because they believed the ones who lied

Frightened to fight, begged to Appease
Always the wrong way, never succeeds
Strength he’d understand, but now too late
The flood has started, can’t close this gate

Where will it end? instantly quick for some
a bullet a bullet, that has their name on.
All so needless, pointless in truth.
Another life buried under a roof.
Like a haunted wolf a mother cries.
Torrents of tears from rain filled eyes.
