Wanting You
I see you in my mind,
Every moment of every day.
It hurts so much,
I never thought it'd be this way.
I never wanted to see you hurt,
I never wanted to cause you pain.
I'm feeling like I've lost my best friend,
I'm so sorry, but my tears fall in vain.
Every time you smile,
It another stab in the heart.
Can't you see what you do to me?
It hurts when we're together and apart.
