Wanting You

What in the world did i ever do,
                                               to deserve the love, i get from you;
                                               I don't know why, i love so much,
                                               or why i want to feel your touch;
                                               I just know, when I am alone,
                                               I have to get you on the phone;
                                               to always be in touch with you,
                                               I think of you the whole day through;
                                               then at night you're in my dreams,
                                               all my thoughts, and all my schemes;
                                               and my dear, you will be mine,
                                               for today and for all the time;
                                               never cut me, like a knife,
                                               always be in my life.
