Want It Back
I don't want you,
I need you.
I progress my thoughts,
Analyzing my shots.
I don't want to wait anymore,
I want you at the step of my door.
I want back in your arms,
Singing our favorite songs.
I don't want it to be if,
I want it to be a shift.
You take the night,
Mornings have always been your fight.
Take me back to the trails,
Don't let us fall and fail.
I want it to be us again,
You as my one friend,
My love and only trend.
I want it back to the way it was,
Filling my day with that filling buzz.
