Wanderlust Got Her
She went to Africa in January, and loved the tigers and the elephants too.
By February she had left the cape and had headed to Timbuktu.
A week later she was bored, and headed out to see Italy and Spain.
Unfortunately Italy had a pandemic, so she could not get off the train.
Denmark? Belgium? Iceland? Norway? She was a woman who needed to go.
She found herself on a plane, heading south of the border to lovely Mexico.
Her friends would ask “where is she now?” and no one ever knew.
But they all guessed, and were usually right, that on that week she flew.
She had a wanderlust such as had never been seen in our little Iowa town.
She has travelled the world, this never-satisfied miss, at least two times around.
She has neither husband, nor children or pets of any kind to tie her down.
Spends her life on airplanes, boats and trains; always somewhere else full bound.
