Wandering Mind

Wandering mind, finding a steady ground
Conveying feelings not before revealed
Thoughts put in writing never seem exist
Flowing freely, no set of rules imposed

Reflections echoed with rhythm and rhyme
Metrical lines and syllables align
Resembling music, emotions at play
Enlightens the mood, bringing much delight

Free verse or structured, whatever form be 
Poetry kindles light feeling within
