Wandering Ghost

As the specters surround me I know I’ll never be the same

Shall I enter perpetual light or be dammed in eternal flame

Who ever is the most righteous always wins

Be evil and you will pay for all of your sins

Turn the other cheek and forgive each other

Know that they are all a sister and brother

So heed my warning and let it be heard

Be true to yourself and be true to your word

Will you succumb to hate or will it cease

Surround yourself with love and strive for inner peace

You have a choice to turn it around before your death

Will you be free or afraid as you take your last breath

So live to the fullest and always make the most

Don’t wind up like me a dead wandering ghost

this poem is well rhymed in couplet form and flows nicely, Kevin. Much wisdom is contained that is not at all common in tiday's world. Great poem my firiend. good to see it on the soup.
