Wandering Eyes Leave Broken Hearts In Their Wake

I don’t understand
What they don’t understand
About the way I feel
When you come into the room

And your eyes…
Your eyes give grace to mine
Just for a second…
Just for a moment froze in time

And you smile…
Inside I’m smiling all the time
Thanks to you…
And the way you cross the room

So please remember
That I dream of you at night
Your smiling face, your glowing eyes
And the way they always give me life
The comfort in
Your sweet, soft voice
Carries me off to a place
I’ve never been, but I never want to leave
So please don’t forget
Don’t forget to notice me
