Wandering Brother

wandering brother passing through time lonely and bereft of lost friends that were mine foggy streets of eternity it is not for everyone especially for this wretched ME a clown forlorn that wished he was never born Hurting is unkind to a loner who lost his mind Travelling without a map to follow He left his belongings near Yorktown Sleepy Hollow Paths to discover and forests to stroll through If a woman could hold him and then start fresh anew The clouds up above are guiding his trail See him through weather of sun and stormy hail he remembers a best friend by the name of Moses who opened his sanctuary while other doorway closes YOU ARE A BROTHER IN NEED I AM YOUR FATHER TURN AWAY FROM THIS LIFE'S GREED And so I did and he showed his smile: STAY WITH ME,YOUNG FRIEND..AT LEAST FOR A LITTLE WHILE We soon parted way but his kindness remains to this very day As my travels continue my recollections remain true When will this wandering cease Who knows, perhaps, maybe HE will not renew my lease until that day that will arrive I will keep wandering cause my Hope is still alive
