Wandering

Weary and scared I walked ever more
Knowingly keeping my eyes on the floor
Where will I end up?
What will I see?
Suddenly eyes were met with a door.

Extending my hand, I attempted to knock
Suddenly, I heard the tick of a clock
What does it mean?
Is time running out?
Am I just a sheep, reaching the flock?

Answers to questions that I often ponder
Will come in good time, though here I may wander.
Do I have a chance?
Will I be alone?
Never! He answers, during my saunter.
