Wanderer In the Dark of Night
I am a wanderer in the dark of night,
visiting when you are helpless, in your sleep.
Your darkest dreams with you, I will reunite.
All your thoughts are mine to pillage as I might
there is no hidden corner I cannot creep;
I am a wanderer in the dark of night
Dirty rotten secrets hidden out of sight;
no matter where they are buried or how deep;
your darkest dreams with you, I will reunite
In deep slumber, it is me that you invite;
call me Shalim, Hades, Somnus, or Apeep,
I am a wanderer in the dark of night
When your eyes are closed, you're mine to own, outright;
oh, joy, rich harvests you have for me to reap;
Your darkest dreams with you, I will reunite
Before you rest, you kneel, you arch hypocrite.
I laugh you've prayed; a god, your soul, to keep.
I am a wanderer in the dark of night.
Your darkest dreams with you, I will reunite.
