Wallflower Come Back
Wallflower, why oh why
Into dark corners, do…
You paint yourself shy
Please oh please come back
From becoming the prints on wallpaper
Fading further away to ever black
As a rose hidden well so well
Within the many crowds
Of far off garden dells
Is it the buzz buzzing sound
Of, rumors going…
Swirling about you, round and round
All too often, it’s jealousy’s lies
That push away the beauties inside
And twist the knives of the social butterflies
So please, won’t you come back, again
And show this cruel place
It’s you who shall have that last laugh, my friend
When your blossoms are unfurled
And God’s own creation is revealed
You then, can show the world that love is for real
