Walking With Faith

I never thought I was blind yet now I see me
It was like having a seeing eye dog though I could see
It all becomes different when you rely on somebody’s eyes
The things that you once cherish just wither and die.

Today I tried faith with a little less sight
It’s comforting to find light even when it is night
I don’t have the answers I believe in right and wrong
It saddens my heart to see all that has gone.

So I decided to walk with God quite a different path
I feel peace in my heart not forsaken with wrath
I do still wonder if I’m doing what is right
And then I remember the darkness of night.

I hope and I pray that these changes are real
I’m growing quite fond of how my heart feels
So I walk with faith and hope for a better day
Maybe I can see faith in a different way.
