Walking In the Snow
Amid the bone-chilling temperature
people would have kept moving
with all the snows elsewhere
cars and other vehicles run slower.
But the need to go somewhere
draws me to keep going
with my agenda for that day
causes me to go out and be there.
Bundling up well against the weather
reminds me of another chapter
‘tis the season of winter
freezing and bone-chilling.
Walking in the snow
an opportunity to grow
‘tis the moment to be slow
with every step I do.
Buses still come in droves
passengers from all places
never cease to walk through
despite some inches of snow.
‘Tis a nice experience for me
seeing them walking in the snow
their steps reflect a point of view
mobility in today’s reality.
