Walking In Prayer

I'm walking in prayer,
with my Savior today
while enjoying a chat,
as I'm walking His Way.

I'm talking to Jesus,
my companion and guide.
With His blessed assurance,
He'll walk by my side.

I'm praising my Jesus,
for His unending love.
I'm thanking Him daily,
for His gifts from above.

I sing to my Savior,
my hands raised in prayer,
with joy in the knowing
there's nothing I can't share.

I kneel to my Savior,
bowing low at His feet.
My sins He forgives them
with a mercy tender and sweet.

I'm walking in prayer
with my Savior today.
Will you walk with Him, too,
And let Him show you the way?

Smiles are good! Thanks, Valerie. You also read another poem of mine today, "Breakfast with God," I didn't realize till I scrolled down the list of comments that this is the second time you have commented on that poem. I am delighted to have your return visit. Blessings, Darlene

Thanks again, Edward for liking my spiritual based poems. I partially wrote this one to prayerfully encourage non-believers to accept Jesus as their personal savior. And, of course, for believers , as well, except for the last 4 lines, since they already have a personal relationship with Him. I'm encouraged that you liked my poem because I am not a good judge of my own work. Therefore, I really look forward to reading the comments from you and others. If you have any ideas on how I can improve my work, please share that with me.
