Walking Empty

Walking Empty

Walking over emptiness as my breath comes crashing in
Choking on the hazards of living life with sin

Spine tingling it scratches me deep into my bones
Exhaling all the catastrophies of being all alone

Periodic practicing of being a good guy as a trait
Hairs of grey reminding me it's probably a little late

Years gone past diminishing all my resolve to even try
Sitting down trapped in me waving my final goodbyes...

                                                                                 bmdavey@04/14/17
