Walking Away
How can things go back
can I rewind time
to start all over again
The time shared
will always be
a memory
days longed to be relived
It's hard to gaze upon your face
and wonder
if we could have been more
It's hard to say goodbye
but we must move on
tears may say it's wrong
feelings are still there
which make walking away
hard to do
It's time we move on
there is no benefit of holding on
to the past
memories are all that remain
