Walk-Away-Athon

It sucks when you take off work for your daughters walk-a-thon
But when you get there she only says “hey”
Then you watch the other kids walk, hand in hand, with their mothers
While your daughter walks away

Susan, I really like this one. GREAT sarcastic title too. It really hurts. I feel your pain. Something similar happened to me regarding my son. Luv, Andrea

Yes, that does suck, but kids often don't think...they don't really mean to offend. A good little poem that gets to the heart of things. xoxo Robert.
