Walk with me , Grandson
Come walk with me and I’ll share with you
The wonders of the world to see
The rising sun in a time called day
and the moon that glows in a time called night
Walk with me and I’ll show you things
that you have will fill you with such awe
and colors greeting you each day
the azure sky and morning light
Reflecting on a pond with verdant fields galore
and skins of color like circus balloons
A big red ball and things that crawl
Animals that bark and mew
I 'll teach how to tie your shoes
To ride a bike and blow your nose
musical sounds you never heard
you’ll talk some day and you will know
to seek lore with the written word
