Walk Beside Me

Walk beside me in this space
Between the real and the unknown we have found
A common place
I hear your voice, feel your gentle touch
I've come to rely on need so very much
There was a time you were on this land
There was a time we once walked hand and hand
Those are now just a memories
Only come to life for me in my dreams
You've chosen to walk beside me where only I can see
Forever to watch and guide me
We share a bond between a scared space that very few can
When I feel I can't go on you're always there to take my had
 And lead me on again
