Walk Away

Walk away
From you
People say
I need to
Easier said
Then to actually do
Every time I try
I just run back to you

Walk away
From me
Even if you do
You will come to see
Our love
Was something truly
Meant to be

These feelings
They run so deep
My tears
I can no longer weep
My mind
Still wonders
Right back to you

Your demons
You run from all the time
My demons
From them I can’t
Any longer hide
Hiding from true love
Should be considered
A crime
My heart has always been yours
Your heart is still very much mine

Another night will slowly close in
And we each will feel so lonely
Even if there’s someone else there with us
In my mind I pretend you still hold me
We each have been losing sleep
I think we are in to far, way to deep

The heart and soul are the easiest to hurt
Yet they are the hardest to heal
The pain is the worst
It's the way one knows for sure
What the feel is very real
Wherever you go
I'll be with you
Whatever you need
I would give you to
Unlike any other
I'm there for you

So walk away
I’ve tried
I know it’s what they say
I should do
I know the silent tears
I’ve cried
Loving you has been
One awesome ride
No matter what
When and if you reach out to me
I will be right there
By your side
