Waking Up To a Dream

I stretched and yawned
Only waking up to another dream
I gazed but was dazed
As I beheld moving figures
Each step l take
Turns out to be a floating stride
I heard voices
Sounding like distance echoes
In went the treats
But out came tasteless lumps
I tried to tell but was dumb
Only opened to tales
The inner mind could hear
Alas, l must live my goal
So l set out
Just to live the dream
