Waking Up From a Quiet Slumber

Waking up from a quiet slumber
I felt strange
My mouth dry, my body stiff, my eyes blurry
Warm blankets over my freezing body
I always knew she loved me
Her true devotion to me demonstrated 
As she spent days sleeping on a sad excuse for a bed
I lay frenzied
