Wake Up On a Beach

I opened my eyes to a shoreline 6 feet away
Cuddled up with last angel neath the umbrella shade
Takin’ it in - Watchin’ her breathe
Lovin’ the moment livin’ the dream

Then a reggae band started playin’ a song
Both of our hearts were singin’ along
We were higher than high without one sip
No slow fallin’ we dove right in
She didn’t wanna move and neither did I
So we set our clocks to island time
What a perfect day and why wouldn’t it be
When you love all night and
Wake up on a beach

We were losin’ control while soakin’ up the summer sun
Countin’ stars in our eyes as the tide rolled all over us
Kiss after kiss touch after touch
Didn’t care who saw we were lost in the rush

Then a reggae band started playin’ a song
Both of our hearts were singin’ along
We were higher than high without one sip
No slow fallin’ we dove right in
She didn’t wanna move and neither did I
So we set our clocks to island time
What a perfect day and why wouldn’t it be
When you love all night and
Wake up on a beach

It’s like she stepped right out of a tropical dream
When she put her arms around me sayin’ baby won’t-cha dance with me

Then a reggae band started playin’ a song
Both of our hearts were singin’ along
We were higher than high without one sip
No slow fallin’ we dove right in
We were swayin’ underneath the cinnamon sky
So we set our clocks to island time
What a perfect day and why wouldn’t it be
When you love all night and
Wake up on a beach
