Wake Up Baby

Silver nights of mercury pour
Into a lake of sapphire
Mingling with the passing ship
Of ecstasy and passion

The sailing of my broken heart
upon the rivers of disbelief
Dressed in only shattered dreams
Drowning in a stormy sea of grief

Setting in the far off skies
Of this land of the unknown
I raise my eyes unto the night
And beg say it just ain't so

Say anything, I would not care
Truths or lies be told
Anything but what is going on
I'm begging, say it just ain't so

The beads of sweat fall from my brow
I toss and turn in fear
Until I feel a loving hand
Your whisper in my ear

From the rivers of the disbelief
The land I sailed through in the dark
You reached into the depths of black
Tugging at my heart

Wake up baby your dreaming
Your in a place your not meant to go
To awaken you from this nightmare
In the storm just say it ain't so

I awoken from this lonely place
Of chilling heartbreak screams
To find myself in your embrace
Relieved it was only a bad dream
