Wake Me

held in abeyance, a prison guarded by pain...
suspended like clouds, ready to fall like rain..
drenched in derision, with a laconic control,
beguiled by time, a decamped soul.
torpid and detached in an aimless reverie
tranquilized and sodden, lost in soliloquy
im waking and shaking in this state of not knowing
lost who I am, and i wonder if it's showing...
im not myself.
and im filling these voids with things that destroy
could you find me and remind me who i am?
could you wake me and take me back home?
