Waiting to feel

Drenched in the downpour of past tense emotions, seeing the future is part of the dream Lost in the middle, the leftover mentions, chasing the wind with a full head of steam Why did it end, once I found the beginning, how can I wait when the truth has been told Questions survive throughout yesterday's shadows, losing my way without someone to hold ~ Butterflies bloom in the pit of my belly, clenching my fists, like it matters at all Banging my head, metaphorically speaking, seeking the pain of that prodigal wall I should accept every gift I've been given, lifting the bows from the wastepaper bin Yet here I am with my weaknesses showing, waiting to feel the rejection again

I enjoyed reading your write. Life is filled with good/sad times. Guess rejection is part of it. Have a blessed day writing away.....................

Lovely flow to your rhyme, Chris, though a bit sad:)
