Waiting To Die

Hatred for life is symbolized by a knife ,
to slice the pain and forget your strife.

Tortured by rage deranged and betrayed.
Amidst all the heartache the blood will be sprayed.

Tears for fears of living a lie,
time has a way of going on by.

Waiting for something or someone or nothing.
Just hating the world and waiting to die.

-Yours Truly

If you have a chance read my poem Baby Unicorn. It saddens me to see one so young in such a dark place. Depression however does not descriminate. I will say a prayer for you and hope that you find the switch that will turn the light on. Take care

Thank you very much Richard. It means a lot to me. I'm just a young man lost in a confusing and painful world. Depression is no stranger and seems to follow me. I will read you poem and hopefully find inspiration in it for mind and soul. -Yours Truly

Now this is an interesting persona to take on Perhaps a jailbird or a cripple who cannot walk free. Always interesting to see the world from another viewpoint lol I prefer to get lost in a flower. Have a beautiful day getting lost in the wonder of words. SuZ

It's written for those who don't see a will to live to show how much they have lost interest in life. The feelings of depression is also a good way to describe this poem I've written. Something everyone can relate to at some point. I hope others don't deal with the severe downs like I've had. There are brighter days and I like to look forward. I know some people get stuck in this feeling though I've seen it around me in several places, it's sadly overlooked.

Thanks Poet, waiting for time to just pass you by is very unhealthy and I know it just makes depression worse. Although, when your alone all the time it seems like you have no choice but to wish and wait. Of course with the attempt of trying to change it here and there but it hasn't seemed to change yet. So I have decided to write as a healthier way of waiting.
