Waiting On You

I keep waiting on you to look at me the way you used to. Little nice things, you never do. I keep waiting on you to say yes, when I ask, "did you miss me today". But to you, that question is part of my childish way. I keep waiting on you to just grab me and give me a kiss. Your touch is something I miss. I keep waiting on you to tell me how much you want me in your life. But you would rather write on paper, how much you miss your ex wife. I keep waiting on you to tell me your sorry when you make me cry. You never do, for reasons I don't know why. I keep waiting on you to say, you'll never hit me again. But each time, gets harder than it's been. Still, I love you, though loving me, you'll never do.
