Waiting Heart

It lays in bed all day,
Wallowing in the pain.
I try to clear my head,
But then I go insane.

Try to convince myself its over,
But I can’t let go of the past.
Always he was there,
But then he left so fast.

Everywhere I see him,
I can’t take the silence.
Just want to be with him.
I am growing way to tense.

He is stuck in my mind,
Haunting all my dreams,
Invading all my thoughts,
And planning all these schemes.

Day and night I put up a fight,
To stop the tears falling down my face.
I have to stop what is not right,
Or I will end up a disgrace.
