Waiting For You

I sit here every day
On the same exact steps
Waiting for you
But you never show
I sit here every day
Wishing you would come
And never go
People always say
The right guy will come someday
But not today
So until then
I will sit here and wait
Hoping you will come
And never go

A wistful and heartfelt write. By a strange coincidence, I posted a poem with the exact same title today! No worries--there is no copyright on titles. Regards, Robert.

You can't find the path if you keep following your trail. Get up kiddo and experience life. It's too short to waist, sitting on a step. If he doesn't appriciate beautiful you after that, who cares. By then you will be having so much fun it won't matter anymore. :))-AA

like this. feel the same. and yeah i thought you might appreciate reading them. though i guess it probably brings up bad memories...sometimes its hard to even bring them closer to me in my mind just to write....sometimes i choose to deal with that so i can write about it...but then...there are times where it takes me. and like that night, i cant get away....peace and love <3 Booboo
