Waiting For Spring In Primorskaya

WAITING   FOR  SPRING  IN  PRIMORSKAYA


River still frozen                            
Sharp wind cuts                           
Sun-bright   ground                       
 

Clear blue sky                                
Breath fogs  air                              
Threadbare snow-blanket           


Snowbanks reveal shrubs            
Ducks wait daily                            
Spring arrives soon
