Waiting For Spring

Dusk freezes where tinsels of gold Spill through the air as morns unfold... Of late, in opal sheen, dawn glides As hoar-frost whirls through the hillsides, Revealing leaves that plunge nearby , Like graying pearls beneath the sky Draped by winter in full upswing-- Till blossoms peep to welcome spring When rosy hues climb on my gate To bear garlands, yet I must wait Until the sun shines down to warm Each perfumed spray... no flakes must harm: Their glossed petals of bridal white And dewy pink of such delight; Enhances May's advent, how sheer This floral birth... tenderly dear! This is such a fabulous and wondrous write my friend! I just love the way you slid in there an opal sheen, and hoar-frost, what a specific feel and description! I surely enjoyed reading your illustrious piece this morning! It is rather a glorious poem, full of hope for a warmer season, me, I'm waiting for Autumn, it's here but the weather doesn't seem to know it yet! I hate the higher temps, especially in my season, Autumn! What a special write you have written Nette, Great Work!!

Right you are! Is there a way to extend autumn, have a month of winter, then get right into a longer spring? I am drawn to your captive language , so eloquent!
