Waiting For Spring
Under the canopy of the sky
When spring has reared its eye
Where brown spots are shown below my feet
And birds are singing its melancholy tweet
Melted space
Has been replaced
With the hopes of buds abound
Where graceful breezes are found
Inspired to plant and hoe
And happy to see my garden grow
I to will rejoice in the rains
Glad to be removing these chains
From all of winters remains
And watch I will
On my widow sill
The bit of crumbs
To what ever comes
To visit this warm pleasant day
Where the sun has drenched its bouquet
Of cheer, my way
Its here I will wait
As nature does procreate
And cradle the wish
I shall not dismiss
Of anticipation
