Waiting For Spring
I impatiently await the coming of spring
to finally see what surprises it brings
The warmth, the blooms, the birds, the bees
the green that will cover all of the trees
New life will arise from its long cold sleep
the warmth of the sun into the earth will seep
Spring colors shall burst forth in all its splendor
as winter retreats in total surrender
Children will laugh as they roll and play in the clover
and look for shapes in the clouds as they slowly pass over
Once again Gods beauty shall steal the show
and the splendor of creation will continue to grow
